Paul Arnold

Welcome to the Durham High School web page. We are a small rural High School located in the Town of Durham, CA, about 5 miles south of Chico, CA). Presently our enrollment is about 410 students in grades 9-12 and we have 27 staff members, including 21 teachers. The economy of our community is mainly agricultural, primarily almond farming. Many of our people commute to Chico or Orville. Our students are fortunate in that both Butte Community College and Chico State University are both located in the immediate area.

Our enrollment is approximately 430 students in grades 9-12, and we have 24 outstanding and dedicated teachers on staff. Durham enjoys an excellent academic and athletic tradition, with high levels of participation by our students and community. We received California Distinguished School status, and our most recent API was a 10. We are entering our first year as a Digital High School. Overall, Durham High School is an excellent place for our students to get an education and prepare for life
