P.T.S.
PTS is our Parent/Teacher/Student organization. In cooperation with staff and students, PTS organizes school-wide events and fundraisers to enhance the educational experience of every student at Durham Elementary School (DES). Anyone with children attending DES is encouraged to join.
PTS meets monthly on the third Wednesday of every month at 6:00pm in the Cafeteria/Multi-Use room (with minor changes as needed). Please plan to attend our first meeting on Wednesday, September 21st at 6:00pm.
If you miss the morning coffee on the first day of school, please refer to the PTS bulletin board, next to the Courtyard doors, for information. We will also have membership forms and event sign-up sheets available on Back to School Night.
PTS is a great way to be involved with your child's school. Check out the PTS Board, watch for e-mail updates and look for PTS information in the green sheet. We welcome new people and new ideas. In fact, fresh ideas and talents are essential to the future of the organization. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call or e-mail.
