I am ecstatic to be the Principal of Durham High School. The 2022-23 school year will be my 22nd year in education. I look forward to working with the Durham Community and returning to the area that I grew up. I am passionate about educating our students for the future. I will also be the guy standing on our sidelines at the 25-yard line or leaning against the wall in the gym during games.
I am your newest Durham High School Ag Teacher. I was born and raised in Chico and a proud Chico State Alum! I am looking forward to the new school year and all that is to come.
I am a professional artist and designer that grew up right here in the North State. I taught at Butte College in the Art & Design Department for 12 years and am excited to continue my teaching journey here at Durham High. I am passionate about sharing my love for art and design with the Durham students and community.
Hello, my name is Tiffany Brio. I am excited to be joining the Durham Unified team. I am going onto my sixth year of working in the education field; teaching both internationally and with in Butte County. Although I am originally from the Bay Area, I have found my new home and a wonderful community in the southern Chico, Durham area and I am looking forward to all the great experiences to come.
I am joining the Durham Unified School District after teaching at the elementary, junior and senior high, as well as college level over the course of my 8-year teaching career. I hope to positively impact the Durham community and the lives of my students through fitness, health and faith. I am married to my husband Colin, I am a mother to two year old son Cassius and 3 month old daughter Kennedy
I am a local musician and performing art enthusiast that has grown up right here in Butte County. I am a teacher by passion, and a musician at heart. I have known that I wanted to be a teacher ever since I can remember. For the past 5 years I have been teaching in alternative high school education. I am very excited to be the new English teacher for both Durham High and Intermediate Schools. I have a B.A. in Social Science and I am currently working my way through grad school to obtain an M.A. in Education as well as a student services credential. I am looking forward to being a part of this beautiful and amazing community and for the opportunity to be the person I needed when I was in grade school.
Okie by blood-Cajun by choice, I have lived all but three years of my life in Oklahoma and Louisiana. Despite my intense love for these states, I am excited to start the next chapter of my life in California. A proud citizen of the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes, my heart beats to the drum of my people. I have a B.A. in English Secondary Education from LSU, GEAUX Tigers !! I also have a Master’s Degree in American Studies from Heidelberg University in Germany. Ich spreche etwas Deutsch. I spend most of my free time reading, traveling, gardening, or watching films. I love poetry, plants, pitbulls, and Franz Kafka.
