🌋 What an EXPLOSIVE day at Durham Intermediate.
Today, our incredible 6th graders wrapped up their volcano projects, and wow — did they go out with a BANG.
It was amazing seeing the community and fellow schoolmates come together to cheer them on. The support and excitement in the air made this day one to remember.
A huge shoutout to all the students who put their hearts into these projects, and to everyone who showed up to celebrate them. This is what Durham school spirit is all about

We are looking forward to hosting our PEG Presentations on March 10th and 11th and celebrating the hard work, growth, and creativity of our students.
Thank you in advance for your continued support of Durham Intermediate School and our Panthers!

Personal Electronic Devices
We are starting to see an increase in Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs) being out on campus. As a reminder, per our school handbook, PEDs must be off and put away when students arrive on campus. Students may use their PEDs after the last bell rings at the end of the school day.
Please review this expectation with your students. If PEDs are seen during the school day or go off during class time, they will be confiscated and handled according to the discipline matrix outlined in our handbook.
Thank you for helping us limit distractions and support a focused learning environment by reinforcing our school expectations with your students.
