My name is Dayna Gibbs and I am the new Nutrition Services Manager. I have worked for DUSD the past two years during the school year and the summer school meal program. I have lived in Durham for over six years, my son graduated from Durham and my daughter is a Junior at DHS. I have been involved in Food Service for over twenty years and am looking forward to continuing work with and providing the nutrition for our community children.
I had the privilege of going to school at Durham from K-12 and now I am honored to be becoming a part of the village that raised me. I graduated from Chico State with my Bachelor’s in Nursing and have worked in med/surgery, pediatrics, interventional radiology, and labor & delivery as an RN for the last 11 years. I enjoy being outdoors, playing sports, and spending time with my family.
My name is Raquel Polivka and I will be working in Food Service as a cook. I am a mom to 3 children and my husband Ari works at Durham Elementary as a custodian. I am looking forward to working at the school and getting to know the community and the families.
Hello, I am Sally Stebbins. I am one of the new cooks and have had the opportunity to work the summer school nutrition program this year. I have a son who will be starting kindergarten here at Durham this year. I have been involved in food service for over 20 years in restaurants and excited about the change into school nutrition and working with and being around the students.
My name is Tony Salindong and I have lived in the North State community since 2006, where I worked at Butte College as the Head Women’s Soccer coach and taught in the Department of Kinesiology & Health. I am now in the District Office and am excited to be joining the Durham family and look forward to getting to know all the new coworkers, teachers, staff and students.
