Durham Unified School District - Small Schools BIG Education

January is School Board Recognition Month, it is a time to salute the more than 5,000 California school district and county office of education board members. They are the largest group of elected officials in the state and aid in supporting student success. Board members are also members of the community their schools serve, as such they help to shape the vision, mission, policy and budget of those schools. Trustees provide a link between the schools and the community and offer accessibility to voters that no other pubic officeholder has. Please take a moment to recognize the hard work and service our Board of Trustees give to the Durham Unified School District.
