Hello Durham community and parents whose children use Durham Unified School District transportation,
We’re excited to announce a new way for you to stay connected and informed about your child’s school bus ride: My Ride K-12.
My Ride K-12 is a free app that lets parents:
⏰ See scheduled pickup and drop-off times
📍 Track the bus location and estimated arrival time (when GPS tracking is enabled)
🔔 Receive notifications about delays, route changes, and other updates
✅ Know when your child gets on or off the bus (if student ID/RFID scanning is used)
💬 Receive messages from the school transportation department
To get started, simply sign up to view your child’s bus route and assigned bus stop. The app connects our transportation system directly to your phone for peace of mind and real-time information.
