Information 

When: January 25th from 9am - 12pm or anytime after
Where:  Durham Elementary School Office
What to bring: 

  • Your child's birth certificate
  • Immunization records
  • Proof of residency if you reside within the Durham Unified School District Boundaries. 
    • If you do not reside within the DUSD boundaries please go to your home district as soon as possible to apply for an inter-district transfer to Durham Unified.

Students eligible for TK must turn 5 years old on or before April 2, 2024. Students eligible for Kindergarten must turn 5 on or before September 2, 2023.

Anyone unable to attend needs to contact Yolanda Prentice in the DES Office at (530) 895-4695 ext. 221 or email at yprentice@durhamunified.org to make arrangements to be registered as soon as possible.

Early enrollment is important in helping us plan and make sure that we are properly staffed for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.

We look forward to meeting and helping families enroll their students. Bilingual translators will be available to assist our Spanish speaking families with the registration process.
